Directions: Imagine it's an ordinary Wednesday. School empties out at 3:15 as usual. Bumping into your buddy on the way down the hall, you start gabbing about something you heard at lunch. Something about how to make a mean shrimp quesadilla with guacamole. Your friend reminds you about the wicked score she set on Guitar Hero last night (That's something you swear you'll top tonight!) As you part ways, you pull out your assignment notebook and start planning which homework you're going to do first. Here's what's on tap for you tonight:
-Mr. Carlstedt has a Bloom's assignment over Ch. 10 due tomorrow.
-Mr. Heneghan has assigned vocab unit 6 due for Friday.
-In math, Mrs. Groves has given pgs 256-257 the odds, due tomorrow.
-You have a science test over Electricity (Ch. 11) tomorrow.
-Mrs. Hasbrook will give a Spanish quiz next Tuesday.
-Finally, as with every night, you have 30 minutes of AR reading.

I’m very busy on Wednesdays, especially after school. First thing’s first: I do my homework, ‘cause we usually have a lot. To start, I will do the Bloom’s Taxonomy assignment from Mr. Carlstedt, which is due tomorrow. I like to do things in order of their set due dates. After that, I have some math to get done, p. 256-257 odds, for Mrs. Groves. Then I will start on the vocab unit that Mr. Heneghan ordered us to complete by Friday. Next I believe we have some reading to do for 30 minutes, and later I study for tomorrow’s electricity quiz in Science. I study the day before quizzes only, so I leave Spanish work for next Monday.
When my mom picks me up from NYO, usually at about 4:30, it’s off to swim team practice. On the five-minute-drive to the Riviera Club, I like to eat a quick snack to get some food in my belly. I know I shouldn’t eat before swimming, but I need my fuel, right? When we get to the pool, I go into the gym by the front desk to practice a little ball handling for soccer and stretch out a bit. Usually in about five minutes it’s time to get dressed for the workout, so I head to the locker room. Once dressed, I know my coach Therese will have a vigorous session for our hour and forty-five minute swim. Afterwards, as if the swimming wouldn’t wear us out, we have abs work and other exercises to do on the deck by the 25-yard pool for our remaining thirty minutes. Believe me, it’s tough work!
Later on, when I get home, unless I didn’t get my homework done, I will eat dinner with my mom, my pop, and Sam, my little brother. If there’s still a little time to have fun, I’ll go upstairs and get on the computer. I usually play an online game called Pirates of the Caribbean Online, an MMORPG that lets you live the virtual life of a pirate, where you can sword fight, sail around and attack British naval ships, and even join a pirate guild. I have a lot of fun with that, but when it’s time for bed, I brush my teeth, wash my face, get dressed and go to sleep, ready for the next day of school.
My typical Wednesday is a lot of things, boring and not so fun (except for the phone of course). When I can I do my homework first unless I have some thing to do.
First I get picked up by my mommy. Then I go home and check the phone to see has all call that day. Next at about 3:30 I get out all my homework; first I do Mr.Carlstedt’s homework that’s due tomorrow. After that I do the first two pages of the assignment that Mr. Heneghan’s has given all of us for Friday. I listen to music while doing this. By now the phone has rung and I’m talking to Felicia about what happened at her school that day and how my day went. Now I will start on my math homework that Mrs. Groves has assigned for the next day. Now I’m doing my math homework, talking on the phone, and listening to my music all at the same time (I’m pretty good at that). Next I study for my science quiz that I have tomorrow over electricity. Then I tell Felicia that I have to read for little bit and we get off the phone and start to read my book The Penderwicks A Summer Tale of Four Sister, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy for 30 minutes. I won’t do study for Mrs.Hasbrook until next week when the test is nearer so I don’t forget anything about it. Of course I will be doing my home work in my room on my bed. After all that work that I’ve done I will get back on the phone while dinner is getting ready but I will stay on the phone seeing that we don’t eat together. That is how my typical Wednesday goes.

After school I walk to the library with Stephanie, Graham and Alana. We talk about what happened at school or what homework we have. When we get to the library Stephanie, Alana and I go to the study section and then we talk for 4 min and do our homework.
We always end up starting with math homework, then after math we do any other homework like social studies or science. After we are done with homework we talk about things like the latest books and we read Seventeen Magazine, which we consider the magazine a cool, sizzling magazine.
I stay at the library to 5:00 pm and we go pick up my brother from track practice.
When I get home, if I have extra homework to do, I do it. It takes me 6 to six o’clock to do it then I read 30 minutes of A.R. reading. Or something then me and my brother would argue about something stupid, like a fortune cookie and I called him a orangutan, I thought it was funny cause he picked hit building of a shoe and through at me he laughed when he hit me in the head, but got in trouble. After that I watched the “Simpsons” and Family guy, Peter, a character got lypo-suction , he looked weird being as skinny as a pencil, his wife Lois, said it making their son, Chris sad that he was huge and his dad wasn’ t and Meg was proud of the lypo treatment! I thought what kind of daughter are you Meg. After that I snuck and played my brothers X-BOX and at Hot Fries he found out threw another building at me he missed though.
So after school I basically, just go to library and I go home and tease my brothers.
Funny huh? That my typically Wednesday for you! (or any other day)

The first thing I do when school is out is go to the basement because that is where NYO is located. NYO is an after school program where you can do your homework and play games. When I get down to NYO I eat snack. Then I immediately look at my assignment notebook to see what we have for homework. I have this ritual where I look at all my homework from the hardest to the easiest so I can get done faster. The first piece of homework I do is the Bloom’s taxonomy which is given to me by Mr. Carlstedt. I choose Bloom’s taxonomy because it is the hardest homework for the day. It usually takes me about 10 to 15 minutes to get this done. Next I would do math which is given to me by Mrs. Groves. I choose math because it is as easy as tying your shoe. Math really has never been that hard for me, so it will usually take me about 5 to 10 minutes to complete it. Finally my mom will come pick me up around five-thirty. Then once I get home I will study for my science test that will be given to my class tomorrow. After that I eat and play video games for about an hour and at that time it will probably be around nine-thirty. So the last thing of the day I do is read for thirty minutes and go to sleep after a hard days work.
The next day I first do my vocabulary homework because it is due the next day. After that I play around a little until my mom comes. When I get home I study for my Spanish test because to me Spanish is as hard as a brick wall. Then I will probably be playing Xbox 360. Lastly I will read for thirty minutes and then I will eat and go to sleep. Thank God that the next day is Friday because we really don’t do anything on Fridays so when I go home I watch TV all day, then I eat, and after that I stay up until I go to sleep.

A Typical Wednesday
My days at school on Wednesdays are very fun. I get to talk to my friends. After school I have to walk down to the library. I wait until my mom comes to pick up my sister and I. Then I start on my homework. First I do my Bloom Taxonomy for my teacher Mr.Carlestedt, and which is due the next day. I do the Bloom Taxonomy first because it is as hard as a baby trying to pick up a horse. Then I will do my math homework pages 256-257 odds because it is due tomorrow. The math homework is so easy. Next I will study for an Electricity test tomorrow. I always study for a test they day before. I will not do the vocabulary unit 5 because it is not due until Friday. I will not do it because it waste my time when it not due until Friday. I will not study for my Spanish test on Wednesday because I study over the weekend. Final, I will read for 60 minutes because 30 minutes is a short time to read. I will do my homework in our office because if I go to my room I will sweat like a football player. I reread the chapter for the Bloom Taxonomy and for the Electricity test. I write out the definition for the unit 5 vocabulary. Make Cornell note for my Spanish test Monday. Write out question for the Bloom Taxonomy. I spend 30 minutes on social studies, 30minutes for vocabulary, 20 minutes on math, 30 minutes on the Electricity test, 1 hour and 30 minutes on Spanish, and 30 minutes for AR. The total hours I spend on homework are about 3 hours and 50 minutes. Besides homework I talk with my family, watch TV, and I go to my friend house.

After I get picked up by my great-grand mother I go home and do my homework. I do all of my homework everyday. Every day of the school week when I’m at home, I do my math homework first all the time which is really strange to me. Once I get home from school I do my homework. When I ever have homework I do my homework on my bed, which teachers probably think is bad because most of them told my class and I that you should work on a desk. For example, my math homework always has to have one or two problems a line. Whenever I do my homework it usually takes some time, like two to three hours. But if we have a lot of subjects for homework it takes me about four hours and fifth teen minutes. For example, since math is so easy usually, it usually only takes me ten to twenty minutes. I do other things I like to do when I’m finished with my homework, which makes me happier than a jail berg just beginning to go on patrol [this metaphor is about, when I’m finished with my homework, for those that read this essay]. So what I do when I’m finished with my homework is watching ESPN, Family Guy, playing my Xbox 360, and listening to music. Other things I don’t watch or play is talking to my family members, exercising, and eating a lot of food like McDonalds or T.G.I. Friday’s.
The very first thing I will do on a typical Wednesday is go to NYO, get a snack and talk to Chris or Kristian for a while then start my homework. First I’ll start with Mr. Carlstedts homework, the blooms assignment I’ll do that first because social studies is my easiest class and I usually do pretty well. Then I’ll do my math because the assignment is really easy and it is one of the few rare times I do understand a math assignment. After that I’ll do my vocabulary unit 6, I don’t really no while I’ll do that but I guess just to get it out of the way. Maybe later I’ll study for Mrs. Bryant’s science test I probably won’t because I never study for test never ever. I probably won’t study for Mrs. Hasbrook’s quiz because I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face, I don’t understand Spanish. Then if I’m done with all my homework and I’m bored I’ll probably read for about ten or fifteen minutes.
I’ll do my homework downstairs in the basement or in Mrs. Carolyn’s office and I’ll do my work by just for the vocabulary ill just do my bookwork and my flashcards I won’t study for Mrs. Bryant’s science test or Mrs. Hasbrooks quiz I’ll just do my blooms assignment for Mr. Carlstedt and I’ll just get help from Chris or somebody with my math.
I’ll spend twenty minutes on my math, twenty minutes on my social studies, forty minutes on vocabulary and just an hour and twenty minutes. After I‘m done with my homework I’ll change clothes then go over to my neighbors to hang out with them and play playstation3
How do I do my homework? When I get out of school I am already as tired as my mom when she gets of work. The first thing I will do when I get home is have a snack. I get home at 3:40. The snack that I usually have is chips. Then I take the snack to my desk in my room and start on my homework. The first thing that I would do is math because I think that math is the easiest. The way I do math is I just do the pages that are assigned to me. It would take me about 30 min. The next thing that I would do is science because all you have to do is read a chapter. The way I would do that is read the pages and make vocab cards if there are any vocab words. The next thing would be social studies because I already did all of the easy things. The way I would do that is read the chapter and make up the questions. It would take me about 45 min. Next I would eat dinner. That would take me about 30 min. The next thing that I would do is vocab because that is really hard for me. I would do vocab by doing vocab cards and doing the pages assigned. That would take 45 min. Next I would study a little for Spanish because if I wait to long I will forget about it. Lastly I would do my reading because that isn’t a writing assignment. That would take 30 min. I am as slow as a snail when it comes to reading. For homework all together it would take 4 hours. For doing something besides homework it would take 30 min. All together it would take 4 hours and 30 min. By the time I finished it would be 8:10. It would be past time for me to go to bed so I would have to make my lunch and take a shower then get in the bed. That is what a Wednesday is like for me.

This is a typical Wednesday for me. This is my route from home. At 3:15 I leave school and I walk to the library. One of my parents or my uncle will pick me up at about 3:30. Then I will go home have a snack and get my things ready to go to swim practice at four o’clock. My swim practice end s at five and I leave at about five thirty.
Next I go home and start to work on my homework at my desk were our computer is. The first thing I will do is my math problems for Mrs. Groves in my notebook. This will take me about five minutes, I finish most of it in class. Second I will make my Bloom’s questions and answers for Mr. Carlstedt. This will take me about twenty minutes. When I’m done with that I will sit down with my family and eat dinner. Thirdly I will do my unit six vocabulary; I will be done with that in thirty minutes.I will do this in my vocab workbook. I won’t study for Spanish that night because that’s the last thing on my mind. Next I’ll study science for thirty minutes. Lastly I will read for thirty minutes or more.
After I’m done with homework I’ll chill out. First I’ll play Guitar Hero and rock like I’m a real rock star. Then I will watch Animal Planet. After that I’ll play on the computer for a while on YouTube. Then I’ll go to bed and sleep like I haven’t slept for days.
Wow! It’s Wednesday afternoon and I have a lot of homework. When I get home around 3:30, I think I’ll take a little nap from my tiring day. Waking up around 5:00, I’ll get started on Mr. Carstedt’s Bloom’s assignment. Social Studies’ my hardest subject, so I chose to start on that first. Social Studies’ sort of like trying to catch a fish going 100 miles per hour, it’s hard. I like to be on a hard surface, so I'll do my Social Studies in my bedroom on my desk. Finishing up around 5:45, I’ll get started on Mrs. Groves assignment, 256-257 odds. It may seem hard, but math is one of my favorite and easiest subjects. It’s like watching television, it’s easy. Math takes me a while to do because I do it while sitting on my couch and watching television in my den. I imagine I’d get finished around 7’ o clock. After all of that hard work, I’ll play my favorite game, Most Wanted: Need for Speed. While doing so, I’ll talk to my three favorite friends Lyndon, Darryl, and Kole. At around 10’ o clock, I’ll begin reading my AR book, Poison, for 30 minutes. Mr. Heneghan’s unit 6 vocabulary isn’t due until Friday, so I’ll get a fresh start on Thursday. Also, my Spanish quiz isn’t until next Wednesday, so I think I’ll study on Sunday. Since I like to get my homework finished before studying, science will be my last priority. Science is one of my most difficult subjects, so I won’t get finished until 12:00 am. Then, I’ll watch television and eat a bowl of cereal in my room, until about 2:00am. Finally, I’ll fall asleep on my floor.
After school (on any day) I come home and change clothes. I Usually change into blue jeans and a T-shirt or even a sweater depending on the weather. next I consistantly go to ask my mother what will be for dinner while simotaneosly not listening because I already know that I will ask again. Then I head for the kitchen (OHH THE KITCHEN ROCKS) to find anything and everything that doesn't move faster than me or scream that I plan on eating. After making the food and eating it(now 4:30) I head for the glowing boob tube with the internet connection. (It's like a bad energey drink man, I can't kick it...I got in trouble last time I kicked the computer). I get on websites in this order: MySpace, 911tabs.com, Guitar center, google images, ebay, back to google images and off my E-mail to see if i got an offer back.(6:00). Next I go see my good friend the television. The television is like the internet, but doesn't involve me to do anything but think. At 6:00 The Simpson come on and I watch for an hour, Then it's to comedy central to watch Scrubs. After or during scrubs is usually dinner at about 7:30. Depending what was cooked I eat between 5 minutes and 35 minutes. Now it's 8:00 and I have thought about what I have to do for homework and have decided to actually do it(that is the usual decision). Now I have completely lost track of whats on T.V.(Thanks Mr. Heneghan!). By the time I figure it out I am watching The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Next is Futurama. now being 9:00 I see to it to go annoy my mother untill she is ready to throw me out(usually takes an hour). Now being 10:00 I put on my favorite homework doin' music, Evanescence or Metallica(OHH METALLICA ROCKS). So now that we are to the piont were I tell you what order and how I do my homework. I do my Homework by the order of classes I have them in tommorow. So if I decide to have an early night I can do the other assignments during class the next day. And then I watch the news and the first ten to twenty minutes of Letterman. letterman is like rock music, He rocks...sometimes. And Finnaly, I got to sleep to wake the next morning to shower, complain about school and then go.
What I do on an ordinary Wednesday after school. First the homework I do on this Wednesday in the order I put them in. on these assignments I always do math first because it’s my easiest subject. Then I would read thirty minutes for A.R. because all you really have to do is read. Then I’ll study for the science test by looking through my notes and rereading. Next I would study for Spanish by practicing telling time and study with my mom. Then after that I would do the vocab unit six for language because it’s one of my hardest subjects. Finally I would do the blooms taxonomy for social studies because It is the my hardest subject in school. Second where I do my homework and how. Usually
I find a place were I can concentrate and some times it’s in the most weird places so I have to move to different spots. Like math for example I do it in front of the TV because that’s were the math part of my brain Works. for social studies I do it on the computer desk and for other subjects like science I work there but for others I have to work somewhere else. for English and reading I usually have to work at the dinning room table. Usually I study by looking over notes or reread the chapter. Third how long I do my homework for these assignments it would take me about an hour or more. Things I do besides homework are play guitar hero three, watch TV, or talk with my family.

On Wednesday I am very busy, I have lots of homework. First, I have to do my homework. The first homework I do is my Blom’s assignment and that takes about one hour, and I do all my homework in the office, and I do this one first because it takes the longest. Second homework I do is the AR reading for t one hour, I do this because my book is really good so I want to spend a whole lot of time on it. Third homework I do is studying my notes for Spanish for forty-five minutes, and rewrites all the definition for the vocabulary words third because Spanish is my hardest subject so that why I spend forty-five minutes on it, so I can do well on my quiz . Fourth homework I do is due my math and that takes about forty-five minutes. The fifth homework I do is study for my notes for a science test and that takes forty-five minutes, and I read the chapter, I do this last because the time lefts over I get to study my favorite subject. All this homework makes me sweat like a exercise person. The total amount of homework is three hours and fifteen minutes. The homework that I don’t do is my unit vocab until Thursday, and that will probably take one hour, and I do this on Thursday because it is hard. Then after homework I just watch American idol, or Disney channel, or Nick, or movies, or I play my gameboy.

AT 3:15 I walk to the library which will generally take 10 minutes. I do my homework until it is done this usually takes 1 hour to an hour and 45 min. I do my home work in the library in a soft chair in the teen section while listen to my mp3 player I do it there because it is comfortable. I the Secondly I will set down and do my homework I the order of the next days classes, so the order I will do these assignments will be Ms. Groves math assignment because it will due first the next day her homework is as interesting as a brick wall Mr. Carlstedt’s social studies assignment second because it will the next. After that I will do my vocab unit 6 for Mr. Heneghan because it is not due until Friday. Finally I will do half of my Spanish because it is not due until Tuesday and I can do a part of it over the weekend and this take we to about 5:15 then I am on my to get my sister with mom this takes 15 min and then we go home and my make dinner. I read my A.R. book for 30 min. I eat dinner at about six and this takes about 40 min. Then I take a shower for 20 min. Then it is 7:00 and I watch Family Guy after that I go study for half and hour and it is 8:00 finally end my by flipping thought the T.V guide for 2 hrs or 3 hrs while on the internet until can’t stand every one else in house until I go to bed my sister bugs me until I feel the need to swat her like a fly.

Typical Wednesday
A typical Wednesday for me is usually like a plain piece of bread. First of all this is what happens after school. I walk to the College library normally with my friends Michiko and Alana. When we get to the library we usually sit in the back or in the teen section. Then we talk, and talk. When we talk, since we talk pretty loudly it sounds like leaves in the wind on a windy, autumn day. After I talk to my friends I usually look for my favorite magazine, Seventeen and start reading it from front to back.
Next I start working on my homework and because I don’t get picked up ‘til around six-thirty I still have plenty time to work on it, because when I’m finished talking it’s around four o’clock. Math usually comes first for me because it’s the easiest for me. Second is vocabulary because that one doesn’t take too much time, but a lot of reading. Next I would study for the Science test because Mrs. Bryant’s tests are usually hardest for me besides Math. All this would probably take me about 1 hour. Math would take about fifteen minutes, Vocabulary about 20 minutes, and I would study Science for twenty-five minutes. By then it would be five o’clock. I would then begin on Social Studies last because his homework usually requires a ton of thinking. I wouldn’t do Spanish ‘til like Monday because I’m the type of person who normally until the last minute. Then of course I read my AR book for not always 30 minutes but about 15- 20 minutes. Finally it’s about five-forty. Still 50 minutes before I go home. Then I start reading my favorite books like by the authors Sarra Manning or Melissa de la Cruz.

How I do H.W.
Dismal is all ways hectic. With everyone having somewhere they need to be. When at home I have a lat to do and one is H.W. The first topic I do is Math that assessment is pg. 256-257 the odds. I do this first because in math I am as sharp as tack that is if you understand it at least. Next is Spelling and the homework is vocabulary Unit 6 that is due on Friday. I will do this seconded because it does not take that long, it s easy to do. Third is Social Studies and the assessment Bloom notes on Ch. 10. This is third because it is the most time consuming of the night. Science and I have to study for a test tom. on Ch.11 electricity. This class is easy for me because I am like a wizard in science and if don’t believe just as Mrs. Bryant herself. The fifth is subject is Spanish and I have quiz next Tuesday so I have t study for that. The finale one is AR and have 30 minutes of that.
Most people have a special place were they do their H.W. and they have a unique way they do it. For me I do my H.W. it in my room on a desk or on my bed.
Each subject matter I take a certain amount of time. Here is the amount of time I spend on each topic: Math = 45minutes, S.S. = 1 hour, Spelling = 30 minutes, Science = 10 minutes, Spanish = 1 hour, and AR 1 hour. The total amount is 265 minutes.
After school like every other teen, I have places and things to do. The things are walk Dudley, eat dinner, watch T.V. and if there is time bake.
When I come home on a Wednesday right after school I normally wait until my mom picks me up from her way home from work. This week was I little different than a normal Wednesday for me. What I did this Wednesday was I came home from school like always. Secondly I get started on my homework and wait for my sister to get home from school. Then we both started our homework and waited for our dad to come home. When our mom gets there we get ready to leave but my sister starts to complain when my dad hugs her. Then my mom, my dad, and I all look at her and then my mom and I knew but my dad still didn’t. Hannah’s arm started to hurt badly yesterday. My mom told her to sleep through it and see how it feels in the morning. So my dad looks at it and it is very swollen and he said that she needs to see a doctor. So when we got to the doctors office we waited in the waiting room for about a ½ an hour. So when we got called in a lot of littler sick people were coughing on me and I was happy to be out of there. When we got into the doctors office I started my home work and I got done there when my sister was getting X-Rays taken. When my sister came back in another doctor came in and she told Hannah to keep this brace on her arm until she sees a family doctor and a doctor who takes care of bones so we can see what’s wrong with her. When we left if was around nine so we stopped at Rally’s for dinner. So this is how I spent my Wednesday this week.
On a typical Wednesday evening I do the following. First I do the homework that is the smallest or the easiest like math. Next I have a small snack like a banana or some popcorn and then I continue. I do the hardest—the social studies and language—or the most so I have more time to do this.
After homework, I watch some TV or play games with my brothers. Some times I might help with dinner by setting the table or just help prepare it. Next I usually have dessert or watch some more TV and get ready for bed.
Lastly I study for a test for ten minutes and then read for thirty minutes. And then sometimes I do a little more studying and then I’m off to bed.
Each Wednesday following 3:15 I’m on the way to NYO and tell Mrs. Carolyn was I’ll be going. The first assignment I complete first is my math homework because I have tutoring after school with Mrs. Ditch. It usually takes about 20 minutes to complete my math assignment. Second I do my Blooms assignment because it’s as difficult as Sudoku. The third assignment I complete is vocabulary book work which takes me at least forty-five minutes because it is as hard as a three day cookie that sat out all day long. After an hour and forty-five minutes of homework I decide to have a small break. What I do during my break is talk to my mom about how my day gone. What we talk about is homework and asks about any kinds of test I have taken. When I get done with talking to mom I grab me a snack to munch on while sitting in front of the television. What I watch on television is Maya and Miguel on PBS kids. By the time that goes off it is time for me to eat dinner. What I eat for dinner is steak and rice. After dinner I go back to study for my science test. What I do to prepare for my test is take online quizzes. I spend at least fifteen minutes on the online test. When I complete that I reread the chapter and add extra notes to my regular notes. Finally, I decide not to do my Spanish because that can wait until Saturday. When I’m done with all my homework I sit or lie down like a restless tiger and read my A.R. book. The book I’m currently reading is what they Found Love on 145th Street. This book has so many love stories.
A typical Wednesday for me would be homework, dinner, and TV. I usually do my homework in NYO, Mr. Henghan’s room, and in my room. I put homework first and every thing else later. Most of the time I do my homework in N.Y.O. First I do my math Mrs. Groves assigned page 256-257 the odds. I do math first because it’s the easiest. Next I do half my social studies I do the rest at home. Depending on how much homework I have I do my Spanish third, but if I do have a lot of homework I do it on Sunday. I would do my English second last because I don’t like English very much. Studying for science would be last and it would take the most time. Finally I would read my book before I go to sleep. I take as long as it takes to do my homework it takes half an hour for math, an hour for Spanish, but altogether it takes me about two and a half hours. If I don’t get a break from my homework I get as wiggly as a worm.
Besides homework I watch T.V., and get on the computer. First I change my clothes and watch T V. on Wednesdays I watch Seinfeld, The Simpsons, and Family Guy. After that I go down stairs to eat dinner and desert, and its about time I eat because I usually am as hungry as a vulture. I go back up stairs and get on the computer. I usually get own youtube, adult swim, nick, or myspace. After I do all that I get in the shower and get ready for bed, but before I do that I watch T.V and read.
On a typical Wednesday I first go to the kindergarten room to do my afternoon job. Then, I lead the little kids down to NYO which is where I have to go after school anyway. First, I get snack from Mrs. Carolyn, talk for a while with D’Asia, Khristen, and Payton then I get started on my homework. When I get out my homework I always start with Math cause math is an ok subject for me which only takes me 15 minutes to do pg.256-257 odds. Then, I have to get my homework checked by Mrs. Carolyn. Then, Social Studies the Blooms Taxonomy with the questions. Also, it takes me 25 minutes for me to do because I move like a turtle trying to complete it. Also, for Spelling I have to complete my vocabulary unit 6 bookwork which is due by Friday. so I’m going to do the three pages that are easy for me. So, that will only take me 10 minutes do complete. So, on Thursday I’ll start the usage section. Next, for Science I will study for my chapter 10 test on electricity. This would take me an hour and 40 minutes. Then, when its time for me to do Spanish it isn’t due until next Tuesday so I won’t do it. Secondly, how and where I would do my homework is I’ll go to a separate table away from my friends and start working. For example, when I am studying for the science test I will review my notes and the whole chapter. So, on a Wednesday when I’m doing homework it takes me 2hrs and 10 minutes. About 5:30 my mom comes to pick me up. So, when I’m at home I either watch TV, or play my PSP games. It’s like I’m a little kid again when I’m not doing my homework.

The first thing I do after school at NYO is see what is for snack. If I don’t want it I don’t get any so then I could eat a horse for dinner. I do my math homework first because I usually have started on it in class. After that I do my social studies because that along with my math is due tomorrow. I do my vocabulary last because it is not due until Friday. If I have time at the end I study for my sciences quiz over chapter 11. I might read my book if I have time but I usually don’t because I don’t like to read. Finally I will do my Spanish on Sunday or Monday morning or night.
Next is how I do my homework at where. I do only what I have to do for the next day. At the end I study for test and quizzes. I do my homework at NYO unless I don’t finish so then me any it at home on my couch. At NYO I do my homework in Mrs. Carolyn office at the table in a chair that rolls.
Thirdly is how long I work on my homework. I work on my math for 30 minutes or less because I have already done most of it in class. Then I need to take a break or I get as dumb as a dodo bird. First I do Social studies for 1 hour, vocabulary for an hour, science for 20 minutes, and AR for 30 minutes.
Finally this is what I do after my homework is done on Wednesday. First I go to volleyball because my mom is the coach. Then I go home and watch TV till I go to bed. I get tired during the commercials so I play my silver PSP.
I'm very busy on Wednesday, especially after school. The first thing i do is my homework, because we usually have a lot. To start, i will do the Bloom's Taxonomy Chapter 10 assignment for Mr. Calstedt witch will take probabaly about an hour or so to complete, which is due tomorrow, After i will start on my Vocabulary unit witch is due on Friday. After that, I have some math to get done, p.256-257 odds, for Mrs. Groves. And next i will start to reread the Science chapter witch is over eletricity. So that it will be fresh as an apple in my brain. Spanish there will be a quiz on Tuesday, so i will leave that study time on Sunday or Monday. I always do my homework in my room. And also i usually takes about 1-2 hours to complete correctly.
And after i have succesfully done all my homework there is plenty more going on in my house. After doing my homework, i go into the kitchen and see if theres any dishes that need to be washed. After that i go threw out the house and get all the trash, so that i can take it out for Thursday morning pick up. As soon i get threw with that i go wash my hands and get ready for dinner. I eat dinner with my family witch is my mom my dad and my little brother Joshua. I think that dinner is the most important time threw out the entire day. I say so because you get to hear what every person had done threw out there day. My favorite is my litle brother, he is the funniest. Beacuse he just started Kindergarden and he has alot to talk about at the table and for his age! As soon as dinner is done i rush up stairs as fast as a lightling bult, to hop right into the shower and get ready for bed as soon as i get out. After that i crack open my AR book and start to read for about 1-2 hours, and somtimes i usually dose of into sleep. And get enough rest to start a new day.
After school at 3:15 I will go down to the basement to NYO. Then we would get a snack, and talk to people. After that we would do are homework around 3:30. The first thing I would do is Mrs. Groves's math homework assingment that is due Thursday page 256-267 the odds for about 15 min. Next I would do Mr. Heneghan's vocabulary unit 6 that is due Friday for about 30 min. then I would do Mr.Carlstedt's Bloom's assingment over chapter 10 that is due Thursday for about 15 min. Then I would do Mrs. Bryant's science homework to study by reading the ch.11 for about 10 min. Next I would do Mrs. Harsbrook's spanish homework to study for a test next Thusday for about 12 min. Then i would read for 5 min. I would do my home work in Mrs. Carolyn's ofiecc After that I would go to volleyball from 5:00 to 6:00. After that I would go Home Watch t.v. and eat dinner. I watch Wheel of Fortue, Jepordy,and House. Then I would go to bed and read a book until i fal asleep.
I attend Saint Joan of Arc. I’m in the seventh grade. I normally get assigned a lot of homework each day of the week, particularly on Wednesdays. I am a car rider so I get home pretty promptly which enables me to get my homework done relatively fast. Homework is like a wall between me and my fun time. My social studies teacher Mr. Carlstedt assigns my class difficult homework almost everyday. On this specific Wednesday he has given us a complicated task to complete. It is the Bloom’s Taxonomy questions over chapter ten. I will start this job around four o’clock. I’ll do this first mainly because it is due tomorrow. I have to answer each question with intricate precision just like a surgeon would perform on a heart. Next I will do my math assignment. I will do this at about five o’clock. Mrs. Groves has assigned pages two hundred fifty six and two hundred and fifty seven, the odds. It is my obligation as a student to do this homework to the best of my ability. I have to make sure to skip a line after every question I answer and show my work for each problem when needed. I plan to do this assignment second because math is my easiest class to get my work done. I have a science test over chapter eleven tomorrow. I have to study really good because science is one of my hardest subjects. In order to pass this quiz with flying colors I have to review each section methodically. I plan to start studying for this around five thirty. The last thing for today is Mr. Henghans assignment over unit six vocabulary due Friday. I will do this around six o’clock. Maybe over the weekend I’ll study for my Spanish test Tuesday. I’m Dillon and this is my normal homework procedure.
After Khristen would have told me about the mega guacamole filled quesadilla, I first though of puking on her but then I was hungry so I ran out of the school. Once in side Papa’s red jeep I soon felt secure as the lectures and debates of the 2008 candidates raced over me like snow over the city streets. We soon were soaring down 38th street at a red light, I closed my eyes, and before I knew it we were in front of my house. We said are goodbyes and I entered the house, tuned off the alarm and called my mommy.
I soon started on my homework, which seemed to be a lot. I decided I’m not going to do my Spanish, since I can study Sunday and Monday night. So I decided to get Social Studies out the way since it’s the most time consuming. I first make the sentences then, ill soon answer the questions from vocabulary in the book. I think that this will take about 25 minutes long, which would then would be around 5:15.
Ill then soon start on my math homework, I completed most of it in class and my mommy usually helps me with my math since I struggle in math. That would take about 10 minutes. I will soon start studying with my mommy, to help me on my science quiz. She would quiz me off words and notes I’ve made earlier that day in class. My mom would soon quiz me over and over on terms or important facts from the chapter. This usually takes 30 minutes.
I then usually take a 10 minute break since I can’t stay focused. I usually just go walk around or watch TV. I then comeback and to my vocab.I only do as much as you can do in 25 minutes since it is due Friday. It is know about 7:00pm and D’Asia keeps on texting me with stupid texts.I then here mommy say its dinner time. It usually only takes me 35 minutes to eat. I then read or call people on my phone. To some people it seems boring, but to me it’s just a normal Wednesday.
On a typical wednesday I will go to nyo after school at 3:15. I will get a snack from Mrs. Carolyn. Then I will talk to my friends a little. After that I will do Mr. Carolsted's Social Studies for 1hr. Next I will do Mrs. Groves's math for 15 min. then I will do my vocab for 45 min. Next I will do my spanish studyind for my test for 20 min. Next I will do Mrs. Bryant studing homework for 5 min. Next I will read my AR book for 30 min. Then I will go home. I will watch tv for 1hr. Next I will read for 30 min. Then I will play video games like Grand Theft Auto. After that I will take a shower, put on my pj. Then I will go to bed at 10:00. Then wake up in the morning.
The very first thing that I do is get a nice little snack and stretch out and then start my homework. Usually I would go down stairs to NYO and get my homework done except if it’s a studying assignment. Usually I would sit in my free surroundings which really are basement where my computer happens to be. Mostly I study best for test at. I study vocabulary, social studies, math and science. Usually it would take me 10 to 30 minutes mostly an hour study before a big test. Then I go and call my family down and we all go up stairs and we go over math that I that day in class, then each of them would ask me questions or give me problems having to do with math, One time they recorded me on a tape. Then on Thursdays I would go in the resource with Ms.Jamiet and go over my math. I then watch American Idol; download songs on either limewire or itunes today I’m going to buy a video, and get on myspace add and delete people. Then while I’m in my basement I act like I’m on stage at the Madame C.J. Walker dancing in a big performance. Since I’m the only child which sometimes is an excellent thing and sometimes a terrible thing I get to go to different dinner, movie premiers, and concerts which are sometimes after school. Nothing is really exciting but when I have something to do or go to. Aaryana W
After school on Wednesday I catch my ride home sometimes if I’m late its catching a fish in a pond of gooey stuff. When I get home I get to my computer and get on the dollpalace.com and read my comments I’m usually on for fifteen minuets. After that I go do my dishes that takes me about fifteen to twenty minuets depending on how much there is today. Then I go do my homework around six o clock I start with my math I do my math homework in my room at my desk, I usually get some of my homework done in class so it takes me twelve to fifteen minuets to do it. Later I will do my vocab homework I will do half since its not due till the end of the week.
I then take a break for about twenty minuets I play the computer I go to addictinggames.com, and play games for about five minuets till the dinner of spaghetti is done. After I’m done eating I will go and read my AR book for thirty minuets on the couch. After I done with that I usually go back and finish my homework I will do Mr. Carlstadt blooms homework it will take me about thirty minuets to do his homework. I won’t do my Spanish homework because she gives us a week to do or homework. After that I go watch TV I watch futurerama and south park until ten o clock then I go to bed.
This is my typical Wednesday after I get picked up by my dad I go to the lord’s pantry because every Wednesday we have spaghetti diner. When I get down there I have a job to set up tables when I’m setting up the tables it fills like that there are 100 pounds on my back and I have to put table clothes on the table then we have to place chairs at the tables. After I got down setting up the tables I had to do my homework the homework that I would do first is that Math because I like math the most I like that the best that would take about ten or fifth-ten minutes to complete. Then after that I would do Social Studies because he gives us the most homework and it would take up to thirty minutes to finish for it to be at my best work. After that I would do a little bit of my Vocab book I would do the hardest part first so that I would have the easy part to do and it wouldn’t take that long. I would spend fifth-ten minutes doing that. The total that I would be doing homework for is an hour. When I get home I had to clean up my room and the bathroom my room looked like a tornado ran through it. When I got done cleaning up I had to get my clothes earned then I get into the shower I take a while in the shower my hands come out all wrinkly. Then sometimes I get in the bed I watch television for a while then I get out my A.R. book then I read for thirty minutes then I would probably go to sleep.

On a typical Wednesday I go to Mr. Heneghan’s classroom after school to do my homework. With social studies, spelling, math, science, Spanish, and reading I would start on my math realize I would rather do it at home and then I take out my social studies which would become the first assignment that I actually do. Next (I would probably be at home by the time I finish my social studies)I will get my dog some food-she’s hungry like a bull- let her outside to pee and get a cup of coffee which will take about 20 minutes and get started on my math which I will do at the dining room table –I’ll work on that for about an hour then go have dinner, another 20 minutes- I’ll just have a salad-and go to my room to do my vocab on my bed for about an hour. I will then go shower and when I come back I will read on my bed until my mom comes to yell at me for still being awake. My science I probably won’t study because it will be too late and my Spanish can be done the following Monday. To complete all of my homework it will take me about 4 hours. The reason that it takes so long is that I usually dilly-dally all day. By the time I go to sleep I am grouchy like the Grinch because I don’t go to sleep until late at night.
On a normal Wednesday my parents pick me up after school. Then I usually go strait home but sometimes my parents need to go and run errands, so I go with them. When I do get home I usually get a snack, like chips and then start my homework. In this situation I would do the homework in order of when it was due the next day. First I would study for the science test by rereading the chapter and rereading my notes.
Studying for the test would probably take me about twenty minutes. After that I would do my math homework, which I would have already completed most of in class. That would probably take me anywhere from ten to fifteen minutes depending on how much I got done in class. Doing math is easy for me and I think of it as cutting butter with a red hot knife. Next I would do the social studies which I hate, I think of it as eating something crunchy and biting my tongue in half. Since this assignment is super long it would take me about thirty five to forty five minutes. Most of the time I do my homework at the dining room table in front of the television. But now I’ve started doing it in my room because I realized that doing it in front of the TV makes it take twice as long as it should. Usually after my homework is done I eat dinner. I don’t really have much preference as to what is for dinner. I pretty much like whatever my mom makes, except asparagus. After I eat dinner I normally play Guitar Hero 3 but I haven’t lately because I gave it up for Lent, so after that I’m probably pretty board so I read my AR book or play some guitar.
On an ordinary Wednesday after the announcements I would say bye
to all my friends. Then I would go down to N.Y.O then check in with Mrs. Carolyn.
Then I would get my snack after I go up stairs with Mr. Heneghan and I start my
homework. The first thing I do is my math homework because that is easy to do. So that would take me like 15 min. After that I would study with Mr.Heneghan for my science test for like 45 min.. I would not study for my Spanish test since I have a lot of days to study for it since it is on Tuesday. After all that is done finally I will get started on my social studies that would take me 10 min. The reason why I would it last is because we have him last the next day. I will only do some of it for the reason that we got him last that next day. There would be plenty of time because I have an study hall period before his class since im in choir. When I get home I would eat like popcorn or cookies or like an little snack . I would watch everybody loves Raymond until America’s next top model come on, then about time that goes off it would be time for dinner .
So my mommy would go get me something from rally or steak and shake or some fast food place. Then I would come back home and eat like an I haven’t ate before. Then I would get in the bath tub and then go to bed . And while im in the bed I would text or call someone. So that would be my typical Wednesday.
For me Wednesday’s aren’t very busy for me unless I have homework to do. When I get out of school I walk to the library. Then I wait to get picked up by Ms. Tina. Then I will get ready to do my homework like taking my homework out.
Then when I got ready for Wednesday’s homework I would start. The first thing I would start on would be the Bloom’s Mr. Carlstedt because it is the hardest to do because you have to read the section then make up the questions. That would take 30 min. Next is my math homework. Even though the answers are in the back of the book I do the work. That takes 20 min. Next is the vocabulary that Mr. Heneghan gave to us. I would also do something that he did not assign us, I would study for the test on Tuesday by having my mom say the definitions to me and then I would write the word that went to the definition. Then we would have done it the other way around. I would do that for an hour. Then I would get in a comfortable spot to read for thirty minutes. Then I would start reading my A.R. book. I would do all of this homework on the couch in the living room. The homework that I wouldn’t do is the Spanish.
After all of my homework, I wait on my mother, who is as slow as a turtle. When she gets home she makes dinner. She would make Alfredo. We watch American Idol as we eat dinner. Then we both go to bed around nine o’clock, but I can’t go to sleep right away because she blasts her T.V. like a thunder bolt. Then I go to sleep.
What I do after school on a typical Wednesday is either go to the Library or go home. If I were to go home I would go home have a snack such as goldfish, pretzels, or cheese its. After I am done with my snack I would go upstairs and do my homework. I would start with math, social studies, language, religion, and then I would do what ever I have left. But sometimes I would take a brake in between to like get a snack such as goldfish, pretzels, and other food. After I get done with my homework I would read for like a hour or thirty minutes depending on how long we have already read at school most of the times thirty minutes. Sometimes I would watch Maury, but if I am in the middle of my homework and guest come over such as Landlords, aunts, uncles who I haven’t seen in a long time, then I would put a stop to my homework for about five minutes and go talk for a kittle then I would get back to my homework. Normally my brother would have basketball practice or a basketball game. So we would go to that it takes about an hour or an hour in the half for him to practice or have his game. My older brother Kerry has practice every where at school 48, Ben Davis high school, and many more so after we get home from his practice it is about eight or nine o’clock so for the I would read more, or watch television, or sometimes go to bed.

When I first get of school my mom comes to pick me and my little sister up. If she doesn’t come we walk to the library and wait for her. We get home at around 3:45. As soon as we’re home I drop my stuff in the front hall, grab my purse and go to my friend Celeste’s house for about two and half hours. Then, I come back home and watch TV for an hour. After that I play video games for half an hour. I do my homework in my bedroom. First, for homework I read my AR book for thirty minutes. I usually sleep for an hour after reading. Nobody wakes me up; they know to let a sleeping dog lay. I don’t usually study for Spanish or science at all because it’s boring, but when I do it includes rereading the material. Once I wake up I eat dinner in my room. I start my homework at about 9:30. Math and I don’t get along, so I do it first to get it out of the way. It takes about an hour. My taxonomy notes for Ch. 10 come next because they are really easy; all you do is make a question then answer it. That takes ten minutes. Since unit 6 vocab. isn’t due till Friday I only do the first three pages and start my flashcards. I do it for twenty minutes. Final, I finish all the work at about 11:00. It only took an hour and thirty minutes. By the time I’m done I sleep like a log.

I am busier than a bee when I get home from school on Wednesday. First, I plan on what to do and don`t do for homework. I will do Social Studies, half of my Spelling assignment, Math, study for my Science test, save Spanish for another day, and read my AR book. I do my work this way because I believe it saves time for me so I can do what I want to do for the rest of the night, because there are assignments that need to be done, for example homework due tomorrow is a necessity and assignments that don’t need to be done like homework due next Tuesday can be done another day.
Next, I plan on where to do my homework and how. When I do my homework I want to work in an area quieter than a cold country night and that place at my house is in the dining room because it is away from my siblings. The way I do my homework is from longest assignments to shortest assignments in length because I have experimented ways to do my homework and my method has always worked for me. Based on the assignments given the longest to shortest order would be AR reading first, Social Studies next, after reread the Science chapter, do Spelling book work, finally I will finish Math.
Then I plan how long I will take to do each subject for homework. AR reading will take me 45 minutes, Social Studies will take 25 minutes, Science will take 20 minutes, Spelling will also take 20 minutes, and Math will take 15 minutes. The total time it will take to complete my homework is 2 hours and 5minutes.
Finally, once my homework is finished I play my favorite video game, NBA Live 07, until it is time for my favorite dish quesadillas and refried beans ,after that I exercise and go to bed.
